From Bloomin Brands: Outback uses a variety of oils in their recipes including and not limited to beef tallow oil in the fryer, olive oil, olive and soybean oil blend, other vegetable oils. Some products we buy will also contain these oils.

From the owner: We fry in beef tallow and grill in olive oil.

Uses Beef Shortening in their fryers. Cannot confirm that pre-frozen/pre-fried items were pre-fried in beef fat, but the fryers in-store do use a beef shortening that does NOT contain other fats.

From the restaurant: "Everything fried in tallow. Our menu is seed oil free. We make our own mayonnaise and all of our dressings in house with avocado oil."
