Beef tallow restaurants found 400 miles from 'Gallipolis, OH'

From Bloomin Brands: Outback uses a variety of oils in their recipes including and not limited to beef tallow oil in the fryer, olive oil, olive and soybean oil blend, other vegetable oils. Some products we buy will also contain these oils.

They recently posted this announcement on their social media:

“We decided to make a change. Based on our personal goal to provide our customers with the highest quality food for their hard earned money and intense study on the effects and carcinogen risk of industrial seed oils we decided to switch to frying in 100% beef tallow.

We hope you love it as much as we do. The flavor is amazing and the crispiness is unreal. 

All cooking oil used here is beef tallow.

Any disposable cups or to-go boxes are made of compostable material. A large majority of their decor and furniture is from reclaimed materials. They use mostly low impact and energy efficient appliances and lighting.
