Description
Locally owned downtown Austin sandwich shop with a completely seed-oil-free kitchen. We cook with olive oil, house-rendered lard and beef tallow. Favorites: Porchetta, Meatball, Buffalo Chicken, Eggplant Parm, plus a Protein Bowl. Catering up to 200 sandwiches.
Cuisine
Sandwiches / Italian-style sandwich shop. Hours: Closes by 4pm daily. Fats/oils: olive oil (pomace and extra virgin), house-rendered lard, beef tallow. No canola or seed oils. Mayo and aioli are made with pure olive oil. Porchetta, meatballs and chicken are roasted in a combi oven with no added oil. Occasional frying uses house-rendered tallow or lard.
